Emily Hunkler Named CEO of Quickly Hire

Effective September 1, Emily Hunkler has been named CEO of Quickly Hire, succeeding founder Brad Morrison after helping build the company from its earliest days.

For Emily, the title is new. The work is not.

She has worked alongside Brad for eight years, first at GoWP and then helping build Quickly Hire since 2020. Along the way, she’s had a hand in just about every part of the business, from marketing and operations to product and growth. Over the past year, Brad and Emily have been intentionally preparing for this transition, making today the natural next step.

“I’ve been part of Quickly Hire since the beginning, and I know its mission as well as anyone,” Emily said. “Helping businesses and talented professionals find each other has always been at the heart of what we do. That mission isn’t changing. We’re just getting started.”

Building on a strong foundation

Brad built Quickly Hire the hard way: steady, deliberate, and bootstrapped. Under his leadership, the company grew into a trusted marketplace where businesses can confidently hire experienced independent professionals.

“Emily knows this business inside and out, the clients, the pros, the product, the numbers, all of it,” Brad said. “She has exceptional business instincts, and I have complete confidence in her leadership. Quickly Hire’s best chapter is the one she’s about to write.”

Emily is quick to credit Brad for the company she’s inheriting.

“I’ve learned so much watching Brad build this business,” she said. “He created an incredible foundation, and I’m grateful for the trust he’s placed in me. I’m excited to lead us into the next stretch.”

Built for marketplaces

Emily’s career has long centered on building digital platforms. She began in Barcelona’s startup ecosystem, working across marketing, operations, and product at high-growth companies including Wallapop and TravelPerk before joining Brad at GoWP. When GoWP launched its dedicated professionals offering, Emily helped grow it into what would eventually become Quickly Hire.

Since then, she’s helped shape nearly every part of the business, from product and operations to marketing and growth, bringing together the marketplace experience and operational perspective needed to lead Quickly Hire into its next stretch.

Looking ahead

Today, Quickly Hire connects businesses with vetted developers, designers, marketers, and administrative professionals who can plug into teams on flexible terms. Every professional is carefully vetted before joining the network, and many have been part of the community for years.

The company is investing significantly in the Quickly Hire platform, with new tools and services designed to make it even easier for businesses and independent professionals to work together successfully.

“For our clients, it’s about having access to senior expertise exactly when they need it,” Emily said. “For our professionals, it’s about doing meaningful work on their own terms while we take care of everything that gets in the way. When we get both of those right, everyone grows.”

While the leadership title is changing, the company’s mission remains the same: helping businesses and talented professionals grow together.

“I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who’s helped build Quickly Hire into what it is today,” Emily said. “Our clients, our professionals, our partners, and every member of our team have shaped this company. I truly believe the best is still ahead, and I’m excited to build it together.”
